Medical Education

Continuing education at Baton Rouge General Medical Center is strongly recommended and provided for our current staff members, but we also offer several programs for recent college graduates looking to pursue a career in the medical field including:

• School of Nursing
• Family Medicine Residency
• Sports Medicine Fellowship

All of our educational programs are highly ranked, accredited and successful. In 2007, our School of Nursing ranked #1 out of 818 schools nationwide for the percentage of graduates passing the national licensing exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN) and our Family Medicine Residency Program is home to medical students from all over the globe.
